Cook Book
Cook book for Boston food justice
My role: Lead brand designer and Illustrator
The Boston Food Justice department wanted to create a cook book featuring diverse recipes from Boston Public Schools families, community partners, and community members across the City. Not all the recipes they gathered had images and the ones that did were very low quality. So instead of relying on images I thought it could be fun to make custom illustrations for each recipe showcasing all the ingredients that go into the meal. I wanted to create dynamic and eye catching illustrations that had lots of energy, paired with a super easy to follow recipe layout. I created over 27 custom illustrations and also designed the book into 8 different languages.
